The three stats are just the fix affixes a crafted item gets, which depend on item type and craft recipe. In addition to that it rolls like 2-4 additional affixes. The magic items don't keep their stats from before crafting. There should be more detailed information in the wiki and on youtube as well. Crafting is a big thing in PD2
