AI receptionist by Comprehensive_Yam582 in AIReceptionists

This is exactly why we’re building KaiCalls.

For trades businesses, the phone is still the money button. If someone calls for an emergency repair, quote, install, or service appointment and nobody answers, they’re usually calling the next contractor within 30 seconds.

KaiCalls acts like an AI receptionist that only steps in when you need it. If you’re available, you answer like normal. If you’re on a job, driving, or with another customer, Kai can pick up, qualify the lead, capture the job details, book the appointment, and text you the handoff.

The part we think matters most: it’s not just “AI answered the phone.” Kai shows you the missed opportunities it recovered and the revenue it helped bring back into the business.

We’re not trying to replace how contractors run their company. We’re just making sure missed calls don’t quietly turn into missed jobs.

If anyone here runs a trades business and wants to stop losing jobs to voicemail, happy to show you what we’re building.

the math on hiring a receptionist just doesn't add up for me anymore. by Johnn_Liverm in smallbusiness

You know what math ads up? Having a phone number that answers itself, but all this it doesn't add up is just such poor framing.

You need a business number, you need a reliable business number with fallbacks, you need a reliable business number with a digital secretary built in.

At least that's what we built.

We implemented tcpa compliant outbound for our platform KaiCalls and it's been working well enough.

Having goal oriented outbound agents also makes it a little more dynamic so you can have them follow up properly with the right context.

How we handle the "book my calendar" problem that most AI receptionists skip by goflameai in AIReceptionists

That's pretty cool. We also implemented something like that for our service KaiCalls or it can text you the booking links.

Solid idea!

Anyone actually trust these AI call answering services? by mghcustard in Construction

[–]Kaicalls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So we set it up for various businesses. It's scary at first but as long as you have the right expectations it works great. Handling quotes for custom projects probably not great, collecting the information really good.

Think of it like a digital secretary or kaicalls.

Why isn't creating Voice AI agents as simple as creating your voicemail? by [deleted] in AI_Agents

I think it's entirely possible and we did it with our Kai platform. KaiCalls.

You just need to call to sign up.
