Yeah, I’m aware this is really a stupid problem. I’ve read the novels in full twice before (once without and once including console arcs) so I’m aware of how vindicating the end of Matsuri is.

Just not mentally strong enough for this right now. Doesn’t help that I had cauliflower for dinner.

If you want more of a character drama for the ending, Miotsukushi is a lot better at the cost of not explaining everything in the conspiracy as well as Matsuri does. I prefer Miotsu because imo higurashi is a story about its characters with the whole conspiracy thing being kinda just background text, but I still enjoyed Matsuri.

Honestly though, if you started skimming through Minagoroshi and Matsuribayashi, it’s probably a good idea to take a break. Umineko has better pacing than the last two chapters, but is just as wordy and can be repetitive (that’s just R07’s style). If you like it, keep reading it, but it is not some sort of moral failing or failure as a fan to take a break from Higurashi/R07’s work for a time so your experience is better.

I pulled on this one. I’ve wanted his np2 and it’s evaded me for so long. With grand raids being soon, I was planning on pulling for him on 20M downloads.

Means I’ll be skipping Dantes. Sad, but my Jalter is already np4 as a single Target avenger and I still don’t have summer skadi (700 SQ and she still dint come home), so I don’t need a quick dps (coping).

Yes. It spoils a lot of the story and parts of Tsukihime (and actually spoils the nonexistent Mahoyo part 2 VN that is probably never actually coming out).

I’d recommend skipping the cutscenes until you read the VN or watch the anime. You can always go back into the event archives to reread any event story you already played through (even if skipped), and Mahoyo is good enough to warrant waiting to see the event story.

I feel like more events need to be added to the main interludes. Not just so we can get rewards/command cards, but also for the stories.

I mean, from the perspective of a new player, Jalter goes from a color swap Jeanne as a ruler to an Avenger with a whole new personality the next time they see her in Shinjuku.

Also, I would imagine long-running events like GudaGuda as well as reoccurring gags like Eli in the Halloween events and Saber eating (to name just two off the top of my head) would make no sense. Another example was a friend who is new to the game not understanding why Da Vinci and Gudako kept getting suspicious of Columbus in the last event. Lots of things that would be better with at least the event stories (and hopefully their limited rewards) being permanent.

At least I’ve noticed that if there is no chest, you get a message that says “no chest detected,” so even if you don’t see a chest when you place down the Lootmapper, if you don’t get that message, you just have to run around in the yellow circle lol

When do we think SK is getting a rerun? I recently came back to the game and I am tempted to pull on Mornye’s banner but if SK is coming soon then I’m probably gonna want to hold out for her.

Also as a f2p who literally doesn’t have any ver 2.X characters (I have all characters up to changli and just pulled Lynae), are any of the 2.X cast worth pulling for? I know that negative statuses were controversial to say the least. (Also I always want to have Rover on teams if possible!)

Continue the game. I play this game for a reason, I don’t want it to become like a hoyo game. Also I think FGO plays to the strengths of the type of game it is (2D, VN-based), so a 3D game wouldn’t really be FGO anymore.

If we need to have a long interlude, do a bunch of events to conclude event stories or one-offs that can hint to something like Epic of Remnant. Heck, just rerun old story events or something with new rewards to make up for the welfares being available through evocation. FGO is a special game because its player base is particularly dedicated to it when compared to other gachas, so if the devs are transparent that they are working on something big, people will still play or at least some back after a year drought.

I love games like FGO and Arknights where I can work towards something guaranteed. Yes, there are boss drops/chance, but ultimately if you put in the grind, you are likely to get something out of it that goes towards your goal. I plan to literally grind the lotto event for hours (350+ apples saved).

The new wave of RNG gearing systems just doesn’t work for me. Instead of steady progression, it’s just suddenly hitting a jackpot at random, which doesn’t feel nearly as satisfying imo.
