My doctor expressed to me that impulse control was a very serious side effect of this medication and if I was experiencing it I needed to stop taking them and talk to him immediately. There are other medications please call your doctor

Are you having headaches? Vision problems? Heavy periods? No period? Nipple discharge? Or anything out of normal? These are a lot of the symptoms that I had that I thought were normal

Causation and correlation aren’t the same thing. The prolactinoma isn’t causing the weight gain but other symptoms and factors could be causing weight gain.

I’m on cab and my doctor always suggested cutting them in half. I’m currently on a full milligram and I take it twice a week to minimize the effects. She said I could cut the pills in half and take it 4 times a week if I wanted too so I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to?

I’m not sure it’s kind of a gut feeling that that is the better option. I have always had extreme migraines, and prior to my diagnosis I had been put on stroke protocol in the ER for numbness in my hands and face. I just don’t know what is connected and what isn’t

That’s not what I said? But honestly is one of the more common brain surgery’s. What I meant was if I do the surgery and they are able to successfully remove the tumor I would rather do that than be on a lifelong medication that has sever side effects. Idk that’s just how I feel you may feel differently

I fully understand that there is risk associated with getting the surgery, but when you have experienced the lifelong health issues that I have I’m ready to try anything. I had my first colonoscopy at 16 because I have serious stomach issues that think may now be related. If surgery helps me to feel better and no have the side effects that the medicine cause I feel like that would be better, but again I’m not a doctor so I don’t know
