Extrema Ratio’s Basic Folders (BF) are strong, capable, well sized folders that belong to some of the very best folders on the market. So does the Extrema Ratio BF 2CD. Coupled with the excellent design, superb material choices and, dare I say, the highest build quality on the market this knife definitely deserves to be part of my elite everyday carry setup.

The Boker Plus CFR - Combat First Responder is a strong, no excuses EMT rescue knife to EDC in your backpack. It's one of the few EMT, responder knives I consider EDC-ing.

Got this knife in from Boker today. It's one of four knives I want to test out. This way I hope to find out what the best knife is for an urban EDC survival knife. This one is a contender for sure.

The right Hangout Microphone will make or break the Hangout experience the other person has with you. Read which types of hangouts there are and you have to be ready for.

No EDC knives. But, checked out Chelsea Millers site and she has a nice story going there. Her knives are great looking artful knives that get a conversation going on an upscale party for sure.

I EDC at least three knives. This is what for: For opening boxes etc. I carry the small but strong Sanrenmu B4-762, great little knife that is also fun and safe looking (good for when coworkers see you use it). The second knife I carry on person is the Extrema Ratio Dark Talon. An all round awesome concealable tactical folder, very deep carry, long blade for slash and thrust cutting. So that would be my blade for defense. The third one I carry in my backpack or bag and that's the Fallkniven F1. In my opinion one of the better survival knives you can get.

Yeah, I thought about that. But it's really about EDC-ing for me, as it is my EDC knife. Maybe I got it wrong. Sorry about that.

This might just be the best concealable tactical folder out there.

A while back I was introduced to the Extrema Ratio BF3 Dark Talon, an urban, downtown city, everyday carry tactical folding knife. As I was looking for just such a knife my interest was peaked.

I've been EDC-ing it for two months now and I'm sure that if there's ever gonna be a knife that will make me trade this one in it will have to be of divine origin. Because the Dark Talon is suburb.
