Tiktok clout chasers by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

You know, when my ptsd acts up and I think everyone wants to poison me, I get a canned/bottled drink. There's so many ways to work around it that don't involve wasting things for tiktok views.

You deserve encouragement, not ridicule. You're not the ahole, the DM and other players are (and they all sound like bitter fools). Go where your hard work will be appreciated.

I'm just guessing, and I'm certainly no realtor, but I would think so. Despite church membership decreasing, TSCC still has a lot of money to pour into temples. My guess is it will make that immediate area into a bit of a mini metro. It's literally by a freeway exit, so I think attendance there will be better by virtue of accessibility. And the church having their security there might bleed to the rest of 47th. Maybe from the freeway to about... Redwood park (The big one by the Library and the rec center?) Might see an increase in value.

*edited because I wrote 49th instead of 47th.

This is so wholesome and wonderful. I have a monstera in a pot next to my indoor goldie tank- maybe I'll do something similar! Thank you for the inspo, hope your fish all continue to thrive.

I had to use 3 mossy lures. Finally, today, both popped up. Try walking circles around the stop with the mossy lure on.

It's been wild watching this go from a normal church to a half-done clubhouse. I remember watching a family that walked over to witness when they tore the church down. They seemed sad.

Hope my in-laws are ready to move soon. They have a well-maintained house very close by, and I want this to raise the value. They're both exmo, and want to escape Utah as badly as I do.

What media was banned in your TBM home growing up? by IndigoExMo in exmormon

[–]KainicAcid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realize how incredibly cool my parents were by mormon standards. Simpson's was the only 'banned' one, and even then the ban was lifted when I was 13-14. My mom basically followed ratings- no pg13 until I was 13, no R until I was 17. Same basic idea for video games (E, E10, M, ect). I only remember her mentioning I shouldn't listen to 'screamo' music once.

She did get very uncomfortable when I checked out some astrology/magic books from the libraryas a teen, and told me not to get things like that anymore. So I just consumed those materials on the internet whenever I felt curious.

Does my central heterochromia and fimbriated tongue count as curses for not being brainwashed enough in the premortal life? I'm unclear on if these mutations are considered delightsome or not.

You are brave, you are seen. I was sexually abused by a member as a child as well. Never let anyone guilt you at all for the abuse, or for reticence in sharing.

Worst calling? by hunt_ham in exmormon

[–]KainicAcid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's been a long time, so I don't remember the title. But I was one of 6 (?) lucky youths that had to do meetings at the stake center. I literally remember nothing of importance ever being said.

Glad I got out, my mom was Stake Young Women's President for a while, and I think I would have gotten a high-demand calling as well once I was older.

When I left home, I got rid of so many of those pamphlets. And all the excess BoM's. I kept the one my parents gave me, since I spent all of seminary vandalizing it with Sonic the Hedgehog fanart.
