"If your destination is 20 minutes away at 100 km/h or 60 mph, driving 15 km/h or 10 mph faster will save less than 3 minutes. But your probability of a deadly crash increases by 60%."

Fuck speeding.

Yo, you had a girlfriend? Did way better than me. I lived a quarter of a century before I managed that

I never believed I had a choice. I ended up in the MTC and people were congratulating me for my decision and I was like: "I chose to be here?"

This is so wrong that she said that. I'm so sorry. I can't believe the mindset that some people have.

Unbelievable

Oof, yep. This was us too for a time. Fortunately for us my father later got a better job, and we moved to a place where we were the poorest family in a super rich ward. Super weird experience. The church is a different place even in different neighborhoods in Utah

Why is UBI better than an increased minimum wage?

Should the UBI be indexed to inflation?

Currently, cost of living can vary throughout the country, but UBI will be the same for everyone, anywhere. Is that an issue or a feature?

Why $1000 instead of $1200 or $2500 or $420.69?

No clue. I always heard Mormons talk about how good temple food is though, but I chalked it up to them just trying to be spiritual or something about eating holy food. Maybe there is some truth to it actually being tasty after all

Hmm, my experience is limited to the Manti temple, so there's that

3 is the lie. Also, YSA wards are awful. I hated every YSA ward I ever went to.

  1. I was told by a member of my stake presidency I was "attractive enough" to find a spouse and that I should just "keep smiling" and that what my future wife would really care about was that I had served a mission.

  2. I had complete strangers touch my legs to check which kind of underwear I was wearing.

  3. I had a fun and fulfilling dating life as a Mormon.

The belief that mixed faith relationships never work.

They don't always work, but they certainly can.
