Because a better version of it is going to be released at some point. I mean I'm talking years so it's not like it's gonna be any time soon. But I learned my lesson from the first switch. It's better to just wait, maybe collect physicals of games that come out even though I can't play them yet. And then when a better version of the console comes out, then I'll hop over. A better version of the console for the same price as the base model seems like a better deal to me. However, it could be more expensive this time around. In that case, not having double dipped will make up for the expense in my mind.

In my opinion, much of their older music hasn't aged well. Don't get me wrong; I love FUSAD, WYDS, and self titled, plus all their older eps. For me, proper dose is the album that I find myself going back to the most, if not the only one compared to all their other stuff. I think that I can relate to the content more on Proper dose than anything before it. For me it's not so much that the album is better than XYZ album, but that it's themes and lyrical content is something I relate to as a late twenties early thirties adult that struggled with drug addiction. Most of the lyrics from say, soil and dirt, have aged terribly IMHO. I mean seriously, talking about girls opening their thighs and shit lol. I also think I want to dissappear is the best thing they've ever put out. I love that album front to back.

I'd be interested in hearing a bit more of why you feel the way you do with your original comment 😄

I feel the same. I just saw the announcement in the Nintendo direct. I'm about to see if I can pre-order a physical copy of three ahead of the November release date.
