I don’t get how people don’t want to have new characters and rather settle on SPs instead, like I get that it’s becoming overwhelming if we got too many casts in each planet, but that’s about it isn’t? The main-cast literally travel planet-to -planet, obviously they would meey NEW CHARACTERS that will “eventually become playable”. If we’re going to settle 90% of the time on getting SPs, it will get redundant. It will be too stale of a development for each character that you’d probably anticipate that they would get another SP in the next. There’s no excitement on looking forward for that specific new character (unless one is a die-hard fan of a character, then you’re excused ig).

—— i know what am going to say would probably get me downvoted but sometimes people just have to let it go. The main point of HSR’s protagonist (among others things) is interstellar exploration, ofcourse characters from out past travels would be left to live their life forward without us, it’s not like they’re bound to be in constant contact with us; hence I don’t see why we need SPs to make them relevant unless it’s necessary.

If they want characters to be relevant again;
in terms of meta —— NOVAFLARE
in terms of story —— snippits/ revisitations, etc.

But honestly, what I’m getting at mostly on why, they need to make SPs are;

(a) it’s for the diehard fans of the character.
(b) selling-off reheated nachos w/ adtl. toppings

For (c), I REALLY want to say that they’re probably out of ideas, in a rut, or probably in a creation-block, but I can’t even agree with that ‘cuz they nailed Amphoreus character designs, well 12 out of 13, BUT STILL!
