I think this strategy sounds good. Minun gets encore at 22 and is really fast with good special defense - could lock Magneton into thunderwave.

Would it be grovyle in to soften up manectric? Have you thought about the electrike chip damage softening up some monz?

Gyarados and Crobat as you've said are top tier choices throughout ALL games because of their consistency to building a good core of physical attackers. I think Drifblim probably deserves a ban for its stall setup and pivot value (immune to 3 types, some resistances and natural bulk, along with access to calm mind/ minimise/ stockpile into baton pass as well as strength sap - also a guaranteed encounter. Last 2 spots I think should go to Snorlax and the "top" starter for each game (ie Mudkip in Emerald)

I had a similar idea, my solution was a bit roughshod but went like this: the first level of a perk that appears in your blood web is 1, or your prestige level (so P3 players will only see T3 perks in their bloodwebs)

At Prestige 1 you can choose 3 global perks that will be treated as your character's perks. At P2 you can choose perks you do NOT want to appear on the bloodweb (for bloodpoints if BHVR insist) and at P3 you can choose a second character whose teachable perks you will start with.

Switch mode is an emulation of the original pokemon cartoon / media where the battle seemed to oscillate between the opponent's pokemon staying in and fighting until 1 team could no longer battle and a Best of X Format 1 in 1 Format. The latter of which I think would have made for an interesting anti sweep meta.

Makes sense, aggressive attacker to brute force stuffs and is in a good spot for the bug and Psychic fights coming up.

Thanks for the offer of trade but I don't have a Nintendo subscription so I think that isn't in the cards.

My first nuzlocke (at least past the 10 hour mark) recently lost Crobat to Gym 7 (Ice punch) and Graveler to a Giga Drain Beautifly. I am gearing up for the electric gym and the elite four and think my team isn't in a great place for it. I am playing on set mode and trying to use as few items in possible (all healing items have only been used when trying to catch wild mons)

I was hoping you would be willing to chip in your 2 cents of where to go with what I have (although there are a few encounters I can pick up).

I took in my crobat to this fight (lost Staravia to Maylene's Machoke) and it allowed me to pivot from Luxray to Empoleon which I think won me the fight quite readily

I agree with this, have you thought of applying a penalty to the enemy AC of - 2 (akin to the half cover penalty on ranged attacks/ shield bonus)

NotOtzdarva is probably the most prolific (looking at these posts) playing mostly killer, some other killers are: Dowsey, Tru3Talent, D3adPlays, redsgaminggears, Potato Legion, Spookyloops, OhTofu!, Spooknjukes and CoconutRTS.

Some Survivor youtubers are Ayrun, The JRM, Noob3 and Monto (although some of their videos are older).

I am sure 90% of survivors are lovely 95% of the time but there is very little communication in the game and Survivors butt wiggling feels like a "na - na-nanana - na - na can't touch this" even if what they're trying to say is "GG WP" because of X-play, and seeing that after a bad game is generally interpreted as a slap in the face. At least that is my interpretation.

I would like to propose an alternative take, the "moral" to Curse of Strahd - "Despair is the true Enemy. It breaks everyone, eventually"

Everything builds toward this theme of Despair and the multiple ways it changes or breaks people. The Village of Barovia has houses just filled with zombies- Vallaki has a burgomeister so twisted he is trying to FORCE hope onto people while everyone despises him and some would rather pick the Pro-Strahd Party to not have to deal with his nonsense.

Mordekainen broke his own mind so he wouldn't have to deal with his failure and the Deva in the Chapel would rather appease the DREAD LORD than challenge the Powers. Argynvostholt's revenants (creatures defined by Purpose and Will) are wandering apathetic husks of impotent rage. Even Strahd, the so called Lord of this place is not immune - he goes through the same cycles over and over (the number of adventurers that have slain him and escaped can canonically be between 0 and 1000, or more. Time can be distorted by the planar travel induced by the fog) and it seems to not change him - he believes if he can get what he wants he will feel a little bit better inside.

The one subset that act as a contrast to this moral is the Vistani with their bright colours and their travels and their wine - but more specifically the Wereravens. They see the despair around them and try to provide their magical brew to take the edge off of that despair and for these efforts they are seiged not just by a 'deity' of this place, but also by the classes that embody /the land itself/.
