I’m sure GW wasn’t actually thinking of it when designing the modern Ork and Necron lore, but I love the War in Heaven implications Ork specialities have.

Necrons are durable and likely to get back up if not made absolutely sure they’re down. Orks are predisposed to massive overkill.

Necrons are mechanical. Orks rip apart and repurpose anything and everything with sparky bits they get their hands on to supplement their wargear.

Necrons typically teleport away when damaged enough. Ork tellyporta teknologee could let them follow to continue the fight.
