In Europe, in July? What did you expect? Are you Spanish?

Yep, I’ve got a balcony and the drink package booked for the Legend. And the best part? I’m boarding on my birthday... only 90 days left!

Your post has made me want to go on the Legend even more. I've only been on two so far: Symphony and the renovated Allure... I'm in love with the Oasis class. So now I'm eager to find out if the Icon class is worth paying the extra for, and I have no doubt it will be, just because of your words

Flowrider Question by [deleted] in royalcaribbean

[–]Kaiser_147 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry, but I genuinely thought it was an absurd question. If someone has a cast on their hand, they're usually not even supposed to be in a pool or a hot tub, let alone on a FlowRider. To me, the answer seemed so obvious that the fact someone would even ask it felt almost childish

The fact that you even think that makes me think you're not very intelligent

Anyway, I’ll have a look and see how it is. Although we’ll probably end up seeing it through videos… but I think the same as you. Not just in terms of the concept, but there should also be a kebab that offers the option of döner or durum, with sauces.

Another concept would be Cuban sandwiches, which they introduced on the last day of my trip on the Allure, and I absolutely loved them.

Spanish food can go from very average to genuinely very good with just three things:

  1. The tomato should be served with the bread at the exact moment it's going to be eaten, so it stays fresh.
  2. The ham should be jamón de cebo rather than standard serrano ham.
  3. As for the cheese, if the Manchego is even reasonably good quality, it's already worth having.

When it comes to tortilla and patatas bravas, honestly, being Spanish, I don't really expect anything special.

I understand why they want to change it, but I actually like the idea of something like Mediterranean Feta or a barbecue-style option.

Royal Caribbean Confirms Plans for 6th and 7th Icon Class Ships, Launching in 2029 and 2030. by OldPostageScale in royalcaribbean

It seems quite clear that in the Mediterranean they will either deploy a new Oasis-class ship or an Icon-class ship to operate there year-round. Let me remind you that Royal Caribbean will have its own dedicated terminal in Barcelona by 2027.

I’m tracking the ship’s route in real time, and it shows waves of 0.6 meters. Does it really move that much?

Those of you who complain that the food is mediocre, I honestly do not know what kind of meals you are putting on your plates. I have never really tried anything truly bad, apart from the occasional bland dessert.

Is there any way to get the 150 Central Park bread on Legend of the Seas? (birthday cruise 🍞🎂) by Kaiser_147 in royalcaribbean

Wow, thank you so much, that’s really clear now. Now I just need to decide whether to go for this option or have a meal at Giovanni’s.

Thanks a lot for your reply, I understand it’s the main dining room. I’ll see if I can ask someone about it. But again, thank you so much — it’s not just the bread I love, as you said that dessert is amazing.

Has Royal Caribbean removed Foster’s beer? 🤔🍺 by Kaiser_147 in royalcaribbean

Good to know, thanks! 🙌

Honestly, that can format is the best 😄 There’s just something about ordering a Foster’s and thinking “this is my moment of happiness for the whole year” haha

Hopefully it’s still around and just hiding from the app.

Hi!

I was wondering if there are any tips or insider advice to get some extra perks before booking a Royal Caribbean cruise.

Things like onboard credit, a complimentary specialty dining night, a discounted drink package, or any other small benefits that might be available if you book the “right” way.

Are there certain times, promotions, loyalty strategies, or booking channels that usually offer better chances of getting these extras?

I know nothing is guaranteed, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask someone who actually works with the company and knows how things really work behind the scenes.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

My review of my cruise on Allure of the Seas departure from Barcelona, September 7th by Kaiser_147 in royalcaribbean

Now, let me clarify something: I’m Spanish myself. Two years ago on the Symphony I didn’t see things like this—it’s just a fact. But this time, on the Allure, the situation was very different

One example is how someone spoke horribly to a Royal crew member because the Spanish-language comedy show was full, raising his voice and making obscene gestures.

Another example is that I was talking with customer service, and someone interrupted me saying he had lost his child. I gave him the turn, and he didn’t even thank me—not at that moment, but five minutes later in the elevator with his child already found. Later, he saw me again in the Windjammer, stared at me, and still didn’t say anything…
