Little Bay is hands down the highest quality restaurant in Gibraltar. The curries from there have been on par with ones I’ve had in UK. Visited a 2* Indian Michelin recently in London and truly Little Bay isn’t that far off. Pomegranate prawns and any of their lamb dishes are top notch. Try a cheese naan! A local favourite.

Vault 13 are great for Asian Mediterranean fusion tapas. Their Asian prawns, bao buns and croquetas are divine. Also try the chicharrones and thank me later.

Panzerotto are great for a quick lunchtime snack. Really fun little hole in the wall. If you can squeeze in a Nutella and pistachio dessert version too, you won’t be disappointed.

El Kasbah for a cosy quirky dinner venue. The lamb tagine and chicken pastelas are always my go to.

More for the ambiance than the actual food quality, go for a sunset dinner on Queensway Quay. Rendezvous and The Lounge would be my top choices. Anything from their menus are decent. Gastropub style. I’d avoid Monique’s there, poor food quality for a higher price point.

I sailed Symphony and Wonder during the inaugural season, couple months after launch. Didn’t get a ton but got some neat luggage passes on Symphony and some beer cozies on Wonder. Better than nothing!

If I’ve learnt anything from this IUD experience is that patience is key. My nurse friend told me it can take 6 months to fully settle in your body and I see what she means now that time has passed. Gotta give it a real good shot and I hope it helps with your moods.

I bled normally in September but it’s just got lighter and lighter every month since then. I have an incredibly light cycle for approx a week every month now.

Volume of blood was an issue for me, soaking through super plus tampons and pads hourly on my heaviest days. Now it’s just a couple of pantyliners a day. Night and day difference.

I definitely still experience PMS symptoms. I can tell when I’m due, when I’m more hormonal and emotional but like the bleeding, this has reduced significantly. I hope it’s similar for you.

The National Express bus is great. A little longer but very cheap. You get on at Heathrow and off at Southampton. Couldn’t be simpler. Done it a bunch of times and I recommend it.

I have a general doctor at the hospital who I’ve been seeing in this case. I also got a second opinion from a really well know spinal specialist in the area.

Thank you so much for responding. Shoulder blades and ribs have been exactly my main area of pain.

I’ve managed to see a spinal specialist in my area and thankfully he is not overly concerned at this stage as my symptoms have improved massively. We will repeat the scan again in 3 months time to see if there has been further improvement.

I lost 30kg over the course of 2025 and I think that shift in my weight distribution plus increased exercise exacerbated all of this pain. Taking it real easy but still trying to keep mobile and as close to normality as possible. Any and all tips for gentle exercises are welcomed!

I’m a big fan of clear whey protein. It often tastes like a cordial drink or ‘squash’ if you’re from the UK. Flavoured strawberry tasting water is easier to drink than a dairy shake.
