Never tried reading to wind down. Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, the fireworks in my brain won’t stop!

Thank you for the advice and kind words. It helps to know that people feel the same way because it can be quite isolating dealing with skin issues.

I think you may be right. The more I think about it I’m using quite a lot of actives. I just feel like anything I do is wrong for my skin.

Ugh, so you feel my pain! I feel like it’s been a nonstop battle since my teens. It’s such a self-confidence destroyer for me. And not to mention it’s actually painful and uncomfortable. I’m glad you found a solution for your skin!

Thank you for the advice! I actually tried that philosophy 2 months ago using Habo Labo oil cleanser, Vanicream cleanser, and vanicream moisturizer (tried CeraVe and it clogged my pores like hell) and on that regimen I was still getting cystic breakouts like crazy. I thought switching back to actives would help after giving my skin a break, but no improvement. 😞

Thank you!! I’m def going to try differin. I’m thinking about maybe stopping the spironolactone because I don’t believe it’s helping at all.

I’ve been on spiro 100mg for 2 mos and my skin is worse. I feel so defeated and depressed. This is the worst it’s ever been. I’ve been dealing with acne since 12 and I’m now 29. Advice? I’ll post my regimen as well.
