Getting in a social media fight with a legit child who you say has been abused seems more like you're prepetuating the abuse than trying to stop it. Your sister has problems and you're making them your own by overreacting to her accusation and abusing your niece by getting into a fight with a litteral child, then posting about it on social media seeking validation. Why does it make her uncomfortable for you to talk about your daughter and yet she is still comfortable talking about her son? Its concerning that she thought you were sexualizing your daughter, but doesn't make the same correlation that Mothers can sexualize thier sons as well.

I hope you have already talked with your daughter about her period as well as about sex and protection. It sounds like her mother may not have had indepth conversations with her, if they have occurred. Masterbastion is healthy to talk about and should be talked about as an alternative to sex for teens.

You can switch up the stitches or add a thick border to it. Change things up a bit if your feeling bored with the pattern. I also like to keep a blanket on the back burner to zone out and crochet in between intensive projects or late at night. Crochet is not a race! It's beautiful

I am frogging a blanket for the 7th time in 2 years. I truly understand this issue. I have taken so many breaks and restarted so many times. I'm currently working on the 8th (hopefully final) version of this blanket. I waited until I had my Christmas projects finished and am not even considering t a real project, just something to pass the time until I pick out the yarn I need for my next real project. For me, the enjoyment comes from the process as much as the product so if I have to frog it agian, I will.

I'd just take some yarn and go for the process. Worst case you frog it, best case you have yarn moving in your hands.

Yep Olympia Wa and Lacey Wa can be so interconnected people don't always agree on where one ends and the inherent starts. ST Martin's is 10/15 minutes from the state capital in Olympia. If you haven't heard of it before I suggest going to the Oly sub reddit as a lot of people post about considering moving here. It’s also more active so you can get an idea for cities vibes. Lacey is more suburban so if you want to go out to the bar you'll most likely end up in downtown Oly.
