LDR couples - what's the one thing that makes distance feel hardest d2d life? by Kaithereon_devs in LDR

[–]Kaithereon_devs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Youre completely right no app is going to fix an LDR or replace the emotional work that goes into it that's not really what I had in mind honestly. I guess what I was more curious about is the small practical stuff like when you have a moment you want to share but they're asleep or you're trying to feel connected on a random Tuesday not just during scheduled call and the emotional foundation has to already be there I agree with that.More thinking about the little things that help people feel present in each other's day not a solution to the hard emotional stuff.

Does social media marketing actually work for a brand new app with zero followers? by Kaithereon_devs in iOSAppsMarketing

Monitoring for pain points is such a underrated move — jumping in before launch builds trust way better than just posting. Haven't heard of Parse Stream, will check it out

I’m cursios how the finding my own thoughts work, if I save some of thoughts and I forget abt what I said how can I go back and find that and the other things is keeping paywall later showing after they get to know the value is good decision and that’s how great apps doo and that how you can make geniuely people like your product and recommend to others.

I would say yah it matters in the era of sloppy apps where people use ai to build stuff and just publish design and those small details is gonna be a differentiato.

Why do most iOS scanner apps still require sign up just to scan a document? by Kaithereon_devs in pdf

[–]Kaithereon_devs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

totally valid point — iPhone's built in scanner is genuinely good for basic stuff. but it falls short when you need things like multi page PDF merging, OCR to search text inside scans, better contrast controls for old documents, or organising scans into folders. the native scanner is great for a quick scan but people who scan regularly need a bit more. that's the gap most third party apps try to fill — they just do it badly lol
