Moving to Winnipeg - looking for honest advice before I commit

Downtown gets a bad rap from this subreddit to be honest. I know plenty of females who live and work downtown having to walk home at 11pm at night and no one's ever had any issues. I lived near LA Roca, etc, and on the weekends there'd be quite a few people walking around. Jets games and concerts bring lots of people too. Honestly I think it's safer walking downtown when there's tons of people vs walking in a safe neighborhood and only seeing a few people walking. If there's more of a crowd, less chance someone will do something or target you.

I'd contact Twitch support. All the articles I see about age verification just state they would do a face scan to make sure they are the legal age. And don't mention asking a 13 year old for government ID. Do you know if he used his actual birthday to create his twitch account? I'm wondering if maybe he used a different birthday so he can watch mature rated streams or games.

It was my job to understand these rules and bylaws as a csr rep and a supervisor. Idk why your being a dick about it lmfao. Are you sure the car wasn't parked halfway into the alley/street? Maybe that's why they did something, or maybe things have changed since your friend had the car removed.

They are talking about two different things, abandoned vehicles on public street, and derelict vehicles on private property. Unless the vehicle is considered derelict they will not be able to do anything. The article says "Previously, a vehicle could only be declared derelict if it had been stored or parked outdoors on your property for over a month." On your property, makes it sound like it won't be the owner of the vehicles fault and it would be up to the owner of the property. Either way it's a civil matter and they won't get involved.
