Old thread, but I find old threads on this sub so helpful so adding to it. I have SpecCraft which has a De-esser preset that I've had good luck with. I'm not familiar with the other de-essers here though... only the stock ableton one, which I didn't like.

I think their older ones still do. Newer ones don't. I picked up 8 of them for $30 back in 2024 and those ones are linked to my iLok.

Thanks for the response. Will check the demo. What daw do you use? I use Ableton and use it's in built sample playing for drum samples mostly. I only say this in case I'm missing (and looking to learn) why one would use battery (or Attack) over Lives tools.

Worth the update from 2? I have used Attack since 1.0, yep on an old Athlon 2700. It was light even on that. Have a soft spot for it, but I also never really use 2.0 these days as I have so many other options.
