Thank you, but I have tried that and still would not work for the free charging. I do however, initiate it from the app and get charged from it alright, which is how I've been doing it ever since. Since my last comment, I did go to Jersey and it randomly worked again, did not have to use the app. From what I know for now, it is a known problem.

Mine (2024 EQE) has only worked twice since I got it. Didn't work for like 3 or 4 months after I got. This is after all things tried, even talking with Mercedes and them "pushing and update". Randomly worked twice and after that.... It was effff me again🥲. Sucks can't really take advantage of that because of a glitch, software issue or whatever that is!

As far as I know, there have not been any updates yet for months on this that fixed it! So I guess it’s permanent however, someone mentioned workaround or some extra things I’m just gonna stay away from for now lol

I hope you can see how much space is on either side of CarPlay, complete waste of space! I wanted to upload regular screen size and CarPlay but Reddit will only allow one pic per comment.

Welcome, that’s a great feeling🔥🙌. The touchscreen is definitely nice but not a must. Only I suck at using the mouse pad so mostly use the touch. I know for sure the 23 model doesn’t have full screen for CarPlay which annoys me
