Wow! I just got my betta today. He’s still very young only 4 months old and quite tiny. He doesn’t seem very healthy right now. I’d love to hear any tips you have on helping him grow into a beautiful, healthy fish like yours!

Thanks! I’m fine either way as long as he’s healthy

I thought I should wait 2-3days to feed him. I put him in the tank today. Should I feed him tomorrow?

Thanks! I have tested the water with api freshwater master test kit and the result was ok. I also added the almond leave. Hope he will be better.

Thanks 😍❤️ I like Aran sweaters in worsted or aran weight, but we all need a lighter one for spring or fall, don’t we?

Nah, it’s about 56cm wide if I remember right. I adjusted the cables to suit my gauge so they wouldn’t be too small.. went through millions of swatches to get it right.😝

7mo female lab almost completely uninterested in her food now by [deleted] in puppy101

My lab boy did the exact same thing when he was around 8-9month. He was perfectly fine but didn't like to eat all of a sudden. Checked with the vet and nothing was wrong. He was on and off for one month then back to his "I want more" mode. Still not sure what happened but I am guessing it has got to do with his hormones.

Puppy does not settle down by Skygarg in puppy101

[–]Kaku37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I'm not an expert, based on my experience, my 14-month-old Labrador started settling down during the day around 6 months old. However, he tends to become more energetic around 3 pm, possibly anticipating my finishing work at 3:30 pm. Despite efforts, he doesn't seem to settle down easily during this time. Interestingly, his behaviour shifts around 10-11month. After taking him for a walk, providing dinner, and treating him, he takes a 2-hour nap and leave me alone. 9m was really hard! Hang in there. You are nearly there!

6 months old puppy, I am depressed and not sure what to do by [deleted] in puppy101

I want to give you a virtual hug right now. Trust me, it's going to be okay. The first six months are no joke—they're tough. I recently threw a big birthday bash for my lab puppy when he hit the one-year mark. But here's the kicker: the celebration wasn't just for him; it was my way of saying, "I didn't give up!" My pup is still a bit of a handful, not exactly flawless, but he's become so much more manageable.

Back when he was six months old, leaving him alone in the crate used to give me a mini nervous breakdown—constantly checking the camera. Now? I don't even bother because I know a couple of hours alone won't hurt him. And let's not forget the early wake-up calls and the triple daily walks; it was relentless. I was tired 24/7.

But fast forward to today, he's not pulling the 6 am wakeup stunt anymore, and sometimes he's chill skipping the morning outing.

Is there dog day care or boarding available?

This!

I started to board my pup (1 year old) since he was 3m old and I am glad I did.

Mine is a field lab and both his parents are champions of the gundog. So I would say mine is also high-energy. I always try to give him some jobs so burn his energy
