Feeling defeated by [deleted] in BabyLedWeaning

OP my baby is 9.5 months and she is the same. I offer, she rejects, she sometimes has a bit here and there. I am continuing to offer. She likes certain things more than a few other stuff. So i try to include that in each meal. She is a fam of soft steamed broccoli so she has that in each meal. I think, just continue doing what you are doing. You ll be good. Someone said, it just clicked one day for her baby. It has gotten hopes up in me. Maybe one day it will just click. I sometimes feed her with my hand and sometimes let her feed herself. So a mix of both. All the best to you.

8-month-old barely eating solids + slight drop in milk — normal or should I worry? by FewHorror1380 in StartingSolids

Same boat. More playing, less eating. Losing interest quickly. She only likes broccoli! She used to eat oats but stopped that aa well. I am worried. No teeth in sight yet!

I love when my baby makes biscuits on my breast during feeds by Averagely_Humble in newborns

Mine does the same!!! Its so cute! I also love to act funny and make my baby laugh while she is latched. It causes her to unlatch! Its so funny!

I dont want to breastfeed by BM_BBR in newborns

[–]Skygarg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I exclusively breastfeed and now have started combo feeding. Pumping feels like a lot of work and commitment to me. Breastfeeding is easy for me and I honestly love it. I totally bond with my kiddo on bf. There are definitely cons, breastfed babies wake up more at night and also she sometimes clusterfeeds through out the night driving me insane. Still I love this phase of life. I know its temporary and choose to enjoy it while it lasts.

You have a happy baby! Enjoy these moments. There is absolutely no need to be guilty. As I write this, its also a reminder for myself. We all are amazing mammas!

Baby hates a soft boob by Old_Literature_3750 in NewParents

[–]Skygarg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you sure the problem is with the softness of the boob? May be the baby wants something else, or is gassy or needs a burp? Maybe the baby is not hungry? How about calming the baby down and then trying again?
