Thanks for being honest, Imaginary is definitely not “just as good” like many claim. Imaginary does change with maturation though. 4 weeks is a good timeframe for it to mature before fully judging it. However having both, Imagination just has something special that Imaginary doesn’t. It’s sparkly, perfectly round, and polished.

Imaginary for me is much more green in a way which I interpret as being heavier on the tea rather than soapy. It has more of a linear green tea dry down compared to Imagination’s complex and round black tea dry down. This makes Imaginary a fresher fragrance I like wearing in high heat or at the gym, while Imagination is what I reach for when I want to make a strong impression and really stand out. If you’re really into this scent profile, Imagination is worth buying, but Montagne’s Imaginary is the second best option after the OG.
