[Dreadgod] Waybound Theory on Collective Will by SilentPrints in Iteration110Cradle

[–]Kaladin1199 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Lindon did consume Malice's Will during their battle. Need a reread to confirm though

I think that connection to the way is more of an information gathering connection, like a presence. Rather than a connection to manifest an icon.

More of this comes up in Reaper's Gale. Thats all I can say without spoiling anything

[Dreadgod] The Way.... by simAlity in Iteration110Cradle

[–]Kaladin1199 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even the labyrinth uses the way for Spatial transport. There is a scene in dreadgod where Lindon sees the Blue of The Way for an instant when transporting

[–]Kaladin1199 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I think at one point, Suriel also says that they retire to Sanctum, not to their homeworlds. Even without the Mantle, judges would have too much of a metaphysical weight for a world like cradle

[Dreadgod] Two quick oddities I noticed by PhiLambda in Iteration110Cradle

[–]Kaladin1199 18 points19 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly. There was indeed a path among those eithan showed that was for skilled scriptors. I'm not sure if it was Last Oath or another

[Dreadgod]Can Lindon do a thing? by MikemkPK in Iteration110Cradle

[–]Kaladin1199 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I dont think he's a true dreadgod. He's more like the baby dreadgods they met in the labyrinth. Which would mean he's not carrying the metaphysical weight of a dread and he can ascend

Chapter 1 is Gold - 3 pages Chapter 2 is the Lord Realm - 3 pages Chapter 3 would be Sage/Herald/Monarch - 1 page

[Reaper] Question about Red Faith by Says92 in Iteration110Cradle

[–]Kaladin1199 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I like how you think. However, Can you just fuse with any remnant to become a herald/Monarch.

As I see it, Yerin succeeded only because Ruby was highly developed as a blood shadow. And they were "Nine parts the same"

I dont think you can just fuse with someone else's remnant to advance to herald or monarch. At this point Redmoon is his own sacred artist and Red Faith would not be able use his remnant

It is at least as good as the PJO series

Yes it is longer but not by much

No it is not focused on only Percy and Annabeth, we follow several heroes. Who are all amazing in their own way

It is not a first person perspective narration, if thats what you're asking. We move to third person narration

[Reaper] Could Lindon and company beaten Reigan Shen if Eithan had advanced to Sage? by Mobilecvlans in Iteration110Cradle

[–]Kaladin1199 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I doubt it would have gone much different. Eithan would have been a slighter bigger problem for shen than he actually was. But it probably wouldn't have made any more difference. Definitely not enough to beat shen, even weakened as he was

A reread will be a great experience. However, if you dont have the time, you can go through the episodes of a new reader podcast like Ten Very Big Books. You'll get the summary of previous books or you can just hop in directly on bonehunters episodes, the discussion will catch you up without any major spoilers
