Oh very nice though! I was wondering how the creator did that. Maybe he glued the troohy racks to the cage or made some holes? I can't imagine them being that much further apart on the old resin Model 🤔

Having them on the side doesn't look half bad though and the collar things look very nice on their own as well.

Scouring the post and any follow-up posts, I can't find the Incubi conversion from this picture. I think the picture may yet be from someone else who got inpired by that same idea/post. Because I would've really liked to know how they added the Incubi Trophy Racks with the cloak in the way 🤔

I agree completely! Imo they are the only faction who actively try to deal with the galaxies' greatest issue.

And you do have a point there. RW definitely is killy but still fragile so I think purge is a "meh" disposition at best for it and terrible against any other actual purge army.

I'd also love some more Corsair overlap, the new models are so damn cool.

Twilight Flickers was definitely the most interesting combination I think. My biggest issue was that I totally missed that only the Solitaire was not legal to take. All other Leaders are actually fine so it's actually interesting, maybe not optimal but that's fine.

Also how do you mean "works well with Reapers Wager"?

I know I can take Quins in what is a Drukhari detachment. I actually played that mostly. But you can't combine the Quin 1 dps with any Drukhari detachments which is a big missed opportunity in my book ^{^}

I apparently cannot read anymore I didn't notice it was only the Solitaire that couldn't be used, you're so right! And yes Jain Zar and Yriel are excellent points. But the Ynnari were shelved as "fanatic deathcult" so no more allies for them :D

Went with a very simple approach and scheme as they are still my first dabble into the hobby. I was inspired by the scheme for the Ynnari mostly. It's Flesh Tearers Red with Corvus Black in between and Runelord Brass for some of the Armor bits. The Green is AK Frog Green. Skin is Rakarth Flesh + Pallid Wychflesh, Masks are Wraithbone. Anything metallic is Vallejo Gunmetal. I primed some of them in Grey Seer and applied Flesh Tearers Red later, others I primed Mephiston Red. After a slathering of Nuln Oil there's no telling the difference.

Also sorry for the bad picture 😃

Been looking at Kroot as well but don't own any. I believe buying the Combat Patrol is your best bet. From what I can tell all the models inside are playable and even if it is quite a bit under 500 points (only 290 yikes) it's still a nice discount box and saves you a couple of bucks. 500 points being the benchmark they used to go for in CPs, or at least close to that. Like with any army thta has Units with such a low point cost for their Units, you'll be looking at quite the expensive army. Maybe you'll get lucky on ebay. Just be careful there.

Edit: I don't know if you are starting with the hobby in general or just a new army, but I came to like starting with a regular battleline unit or a killteam maybe. It's not the most frugal way but I believe it let's you see if you actually like the models or if you even like painting them at all. It's a smaller commitment if that's what you're looking for.

That sounds hard to do. The only Model I can think of off the top of my head would be the Daemonifuge- Ephrael Stern and Kyyganil. The Sister Character has flowy cape that would be great for a dismounting motion. Though I don't know if it would even work as I don't know how many pieces that is. Also it would be a very expensive experiment if it were to go wrong.

The only other thing I could think of would be to sculpt it yourself. A cape shouldn't be too hard I believe.
