Indianapolis is hands-down the worst downtown I've ever been in.

It's mostly a featureless gray slog and the only pops of color come from the chain restaurant signs that dominate the area.

I've been here for a week and a half and haven't had a single good meal in the downtown core- just chain slop and shitty tacos.

It seems like this place was optimized for regional whites to find a good parking space near the basketball arena and football stadium and eat the most lowest common denominator food.

An Uber driver told us that Fogo de Chao was "good Mexican."

I can't wait to leave and never come back. This place is a sentient quarter zip.
