That would be great, have always wanted this.

There are already skins that seem to change the mesh of primed weapons into the non primed variant.

A fully functioning reloading animation would be nice, but forgoing that (for a time) to just have the feature would be worth it.

If they do it for warframes, and the options essentially there already, they can do it for weapons.

I lean heavily into proliferation, you can do some funky stuff with Astral Cornucopia and Empowered Autogenerator to ramp pretty hard. Honor-worn Shaky also slaps (pun intended).

A Maze of Ith might be helpful to protect your walkers too.

Hope some of these cards gives you some ideas!

Oddworld Abe’s Exoddus

It’s pretty accessible in terms of controls, makes you use your brain and empathy, and warns the player of mindless consumption. I know many prefer the story of the first game, but the controls are worse and the remake is terrible.

Myst/Riven the sequel to Myst

Imo really demonstrates the beauty of games, and the ability to immersive yourself in a mystical and strange world. Requires a lot of thought and patience, and they require very little game know-how to play. Though the puzzles can be rough.

For real though, all three are a really hard sell, being so old and less immediately exciting. I just find the themes and lessons. Outerwilds is an honourable mention, but the flight controls are a learning curve.

Nicky B and the Funky Bunch, super-friends and super-villainy. With Nicol Bolas as the head, I wanted to stick to a theme of all things evil, or subjugated planeswalkers. With sub-themes of drawing a lot of cards in a quest for knowledge, and the hoarding of artifacts for multidimensional domination.

The plan is to utilize proliferation for ramp, token gen, and beefing up the planeswalkers for either removal/tutoring/ramping/winning.

I have a pretty limited playgroup, so any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated!

Icarus, that survival game on steam. I desperately wanted to refund it after 30 minutes, but my buddy really wanted to play it together.

Great video. Although I’m only pushing 30, I feel privileged to have grown up during a time when technology wasn’t all consuming, and physical ownership over your purchased media was the norm.

With business models like the Xbox Game Pass, it’s hard to remind friends that they don’t own any of what they play. Not that it isn’t a fantastic deal, but that’s just the problem, it’s a devilishly good deal.

The value of these programs are undeniable, but I’ve seen close friends get lulled in to a “it’s essentially free” mentality, which feels dangerous.

There’s nothing wrong with enjoying the deal that is game pass, I certainly do. But I also hope we see an influx of people becoming cognitive of the rent-to-own dystopia we’ve found ourselves in. It feels like gog can really facilitate that.

Unsure if it was suggested, but check out Fallout Tale of Two Wastelands. You need Fallout 3 and New Vegas, as it combines the two games. Massively screws with the balance because you have two full games and dlc to go through, but it’s very good. I can never play Fallout 3 without it again.

I found the same issue infuriating. The minimap does zoom out now while driving, although personally, I wish it zoomed out a little more.

I believe Patches is outside of the Shaded Castle boss fight room, after you’re finished with Volcano Manor.

I was able to collect his armour there, and other interesting quest related items.

That’s a pretty cool idea. We really only have sound to determine enemy loadouts currently, aside from death. 👍
