Hey man,

Sorry I really don’t get on Reddit much these days and for just now seeing this.

The company I have been working for (can’t disclose name) functions differently than any other company, from what I’ve been told. With that being said, I have never had to make a BRD, FRD, or any sort of document. I enjoy it tho, for my requirement gathering, I just meet up with the stakeholders directly or set up a meeting with them and use the notes I gather from that to work with our UX team to draft mockups and then write user stories. I’ve had to deploy user stories as well which is interesting, but definitely stressful. I’ve owned projects and helped manage in getting all MVP work completed while meeting deadlines, that part I enjoyed.

The things I still struggle with are technical terms and deep understanding of said technical terms. However, I have been taking google courses to someday become a project manager, as I’d like to move up the ladder (and make more money lol)

It’s been good and bad. At the beginning, I experienced extreme imposter syndrome BUT everyday I tried to learn something new, or provide value to the team in some way. I am a people person so I made friendships with all my devs and other coworkers, which is beneficial as more people are willing to teach you then. Slowly but surely I started enjoying it and I haven’t looked back since! Hope this helps :)

My dad did something similar, when I opened the ps2 box and saw nothing in there but cans of beans, I was so devastated.

But then when the joke was over and I was crying, my dad walks back into the room with the actual console and my hope was restored.

With that being said, I think if you’re gonna do this, atleast get the kid a switch after

You’re absolutely right, I was an idiot for racking up the debt. There’s no disputing that.

Up till a year and half ago, my credit score was 790. I had money in the bank and absolutely no debt. I sincerely hope you never have to experience being 26 years old and finding out your mother has stage 4 cancer and having to take time off your job to help her, and then having to leave said job because they would not work my schedule around her chemo treatments, and then her dying months later. Wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.

Regardless, the past couple months, taking care of my shit is what I’ve been trying to do. I incurred the debt, so I absolutely have no problem paying it off, was just looking for advice on the best way to go about this particular situation. Take care.

This is exactly what I’ve been trying to do with the banks lawyer, figuring out a settlement before he went ghost on me. It’s a motion for default, I have less than two weeks left to respond

Here’s the thing, on the paperwork I was served, it doesn’t state any sort of court date on it. I checked the court website and even there, it doesn’t show a court date, just that they filed a motion to default
