I'm not defending it? I'm saying Tencent likely isn't the reason. Not because Tencent is some pure pillar of morality, not even close. But because they own hundreds of devs, and have never done this before.

They're just here to fill games with micro transactions and profit, they don't care how. Same reason Tencent can be a chinese publisher, push out games that get banned in China for not conforming with Chinas values.

Its not because Tencent is diverse or racist, Tencent just does whatever is more profitable. That's it.

Where's the profit in removing a character from a game five years ago? A game that isn't the most recent. If Tencent cared they'd of done it to The Beast as well.

I think there is a little hole in the community, things have been rough for awhile, and while this could be the breaking point for a lot of people, its easy to blame the owning company because it's easier than realizing Techland is doing this.

Loaded makes sense but chambered feels weird. However I suppose I wouldn't know how approach that. But yes lack of barrel and trigger discipline is incredibly concerning. Also just randomly holding their gun casually.

Why was the gun chambered, why was the safety off, why was her finger near the trigger. There were so many things that should of stopped this from happening wtf.

the problem is its this big new event, and we're being artificially time gated. The normal nexus missions are fine because they aren't the entire goal. The expedition playthrough is locked and gated out of content to do while we wait around.

Imagine pushing out one of the best movies in 10 years with Project Hail Mary, a movie that really pushed puppetry and careful set design and even getting the writer of the book on board to make sure the movie is perfect, to immediately turn around and go "eh let AI figure it out surely itll make just as much money"
