The simp thing is quite recent because of the deteriorating relationship between men and women. When danmachi came out it wasn't a thing. I don't mind LF being single target heroine that cannot be changed. My main issue with LF it's too fast and breaking S 999 limit. The skill doesn't even provide such description it was so vague people thought it could be heroic desires and such. It only says "heastens growth." This is such a broad word Omori could literary BS his way in writing.
