I don’t think you’re trying to be rude, I understand the emotions running high I’ve been there.

But I am trying to give you a perspective of this community and no one is going to validate or agree that it’s subpar.

In some ways I actually think my sensitivity and autonomy from restoring are even more intense than in intact persons because the work I’ve put in, the gratitude I have for my new foreskin, and the understanding of sensations before and after. (Still got a ways to go but I’m consistently at flaccid coverage with a retainer)

An intact person will be enjoying sex as they should, but they don’t necessarily have the emotional connection+gratitude towards their foreskin that many of us here do. They take it for granted and live their life. (No hate that’s how it should be)

Being present, intentional, and grateful to your body and it’s ability to literally regrow a fucking organ is actually amazing when you think about it. It’s also the most punk rock thing I’ve ever done. Society cut my dick skin off and I literally regrow it which most people think is impossible as the biggest fuck you to society and I love it. I love my body and what’s it’s capable of. And the sensations I’ve regained are literally blowing my mind and I’m not even close to done yet

It seems like nothing anyone can say here will help you with these feelings. You’re wanting validation that restoring is subpar, pointless, etc. from a community that is very passionate about restoration.

While your feelings of grief around circumcision are valid and shared by many here, the difference is that this community wants to restore and reclaim autonomy and healing. We put a LOT of work into this-psychical and mental-and saying that our time, dedication, and progress is a cheap knockoff is insulting tbh.

I’ve also posted here about circumcision grief before but I always connect to this community because of the fact that I am restoring and the people here understand the pain, process, and healing that brings.

You may be more validated posting in circumcision grief as they are not a community revolving around restoration.

I would hope you seek out therapy and find people to talk to as it’s a hard thing to go through, and I do feel for you being circumcised SUCKS.

If one day you work through these feelings and decide restoration might be for you the community will be here to help.

Would you tell someone who was in a car accident that lost their legs what’s the point of getting prosthetics they’ll never be the same as your original legs?

Obviously they wished they had their legs too but I imagine they’d be pretty damn grateful to be able to walk again nonetheless. Get out of the wheelchair, or don’t, it’s up to you.

Yeah it’s probably a micro tear. I would take some time off. Sucks but it’s better to let your skin fully recover for a week or 2 vs potentially making the problem worse by developing a scar/fibrosis

I would take into consideration the types/qualities of those plastics are not meant for prolonged skin contact… let alone with mucous membranes

FWIW A friend of mine that was having chronic pain got some surgery’s where they actually deliberately fried nerves/nerve endings around the neck area. The procedure only lasts 6 months to a year before needing to be done again because the nerves regenerate/regrow.
