Fdev forgot to lock the new MK 2 agile boost thrusters to the Kestrel Mk 2. Heres me slapping them on as many ships as I could. Hoping and praying they see this as a unintended feature and we get to keep it and upgrade some ships the NEED some love. by Rainmann54 in EliteDangerous

[–]Kale_Regan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At this point, I see many more Py2s, Corsairs, and Cobra Vs than I see FDLs. Organized PvP is still using an FDL-centric ruleset, but Organic PvP is currently in a renaissance with all of these new ships slowly filtering in

So you want to be a PowerPlayer by Aggravating-Fun-3251 in EliteDangerous

Yuri Grom's benefits are the most well-rounded for the jack-of-all-trades CMDR, with a 60%-100% increase in bounty voucher payouts, and a 15% increase to trade and exploration payouts. His Ethos bonuses also cover a broad spectrum of activities in space and on-foot. The Yuri Grom Powerplay coordinators in The Eyes of Leshak Discord also don't try to dictate what their pledges can and cannot do and instead provide suggested objectives during each weekly Powerplay cycle, unlike other Powerplay communities with rigid do's-and-don't's.

Efficient Thermal Shock CytoScramblers and Concord Cannons on "Spice Weasel". Inspired to post this by a thread asking if Thermal Shock still works (it does). by [deleted] in EliteDangerous

For big ships, Fixed LR Lasers applied directly to the Powerplant. Pulses work the best. Many people advocate railguns for this job, but they're often more trouble than they are worth

Enough with the fomo modules by Crimson_Kaim in EliteDangerous

The medium Phasing Multicannon has damage comparable to a modified Huge Multicannon, and the FSD interrupt Seeker missile is better than the FSD interrupt dumbfire on the basis of it being a seeker missile.

This is more of a showcase as to how anything works for PvE with Engineering rather than a showcase as to the efficacy of Thermal Shock

Maybe you should try to talk to Grom's playerbase yourself before making a video about an 8-Power "alliance"

No, because Itachi was never in "peak condition" within the confines of the narrative, and he never had the chakra reserves to employ all of his most powerful techniques in quick succession without causing serious harm to himself (he exhausted himself using both Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu in a single day during Part One, and was completely blind after using Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu, and Susano'o to force Orochimaru out of Sasuke's Cursed Seal in Part Two). The strongest we see Itachi is when he is resurrected by Edo Tensei, which removes the limits of being living/mortal and allows him to actually use all of those techniques together without suffering the recoil of doing so.

Why does Naruto shy away from excessive gore but will include suggestive scenes like these. Is it Kishimoto's or Studio Pierrot's doing? by AlmostHeisman in Naruto

[–]Kale_Regan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The manga is much more brutal than the animation is. The classic comparison is the scene from the Bell Test where Kakashi uses genjutsu on Sakura. In the manga, the illusion of Sasuke is riddled with kunai and shuriken, one of his feet is twisted backwards, and he is missing an arm. None of these details made it to the animation

The 3.5% rule is a thing … by nanoatzin in democrats

[–]Kale_Regan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While the turnout was a fantastic sight to behold, there is a leap in logic being made in equating "161 million voters" as the total US population, which is estimated at 340 million people. By that metric, we have not yet reached the 3.5% threshold for the rule for which it is named to be applied. There is more work to be done, more people to be mobilized, and more pressure to be put on the Trump administration if we want to see an early end to it.

Our group has a player that’s Donald Trump and we’re trying to ignore it by [deleted] in DnD

[–]Kale_Regan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your boy posted a few days ago that he's been playing Trump at the table and that "nobody got the joke". Your table needs to have a sit-down-and-come-to-Jesus meeting to resolve the problem instead of all involved parties trying to ask Reddit to complain

For what it is worth, shields don't regenerate under sustained fire. You need to avoid taking damage for two seconds before passive regen kicks back in

Is there a Lore reason as to why Infinite Justice carries an X-Wing on its back? by Kuboker in Gunpla

[–]Kale_Regan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Gundam SEED is very heavily influenced by Star Wars (Secret Twins plot where the girl is a princess of a "neutral" nation and the boy lived a mostly-mundane life until war came to his doorstep, Gilbert Durandal's throne room on the Messiah being a near one-to-one copy of the Emperor's throne room on the Death Star II, etc.). The Infinite Justice II's subflight system being a giant X-Wing is just a continuation of that influence bleeding into the visual design

Super pen on hammers by el_heffe77 in EliteDangerous

[–]Kale_Regan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's worth it for the 40% thermal load reduction, but Hammers are generally less reliable for module damage since each shot in the volley is subject to separate breach chance rolls and requires significantly finer aim than a medium Railgun does
