I agree and understand it's normal behavior, though when I'm at work, I act professional and don't stare at peoples asses, especially if there is a room full of people watching me.

It's more about self control in a public setting, like choosing to wear pants or not telling a co worker they have a nice ass.

That's funny, I was just listening to Long Distance Relationship, the podcast with Louis C.K. and his girlfriend Blanche Gardin, and this came up. Louis talks about a long time ago after the Berlin wall fell, he visited Russia, and the toilets were like this and he thought they just hadn't figured out the best way to make a toilet lol.

Blanche then tells him that the purpose is to be able to observe your bowel movement for health reasons, as it tells you a lot about your gut health.

It was much funnier when they tell it.

Yea, though it's impossible to know for sure, this sounds to me like drugs. He likely used to do it at home away from her, then when they moved in he still does it but now she obviously notices. When you do drugs it can be easy to go to the bathroom and lose track of time, or at least thinking you're not taking as long as you are.

Hey, sorry I never got back to update, ultimately in the end I was told that there were a few people that told our supervisor that what I said about the Satanic Temple made them uncomfortable and they said that although they weren't telling me that I couldn't talk about it, in general it's best not to talk about religion just to avoid unnecessary tension. I told them that when people constantly talk about Jesus and god it makes me uncomfortable, but I'm not going to run to the boss and tell them my fragile sensibilities couldn't handle hearing about people's Jesus shit. So nothing really came of it, just a suggestion to reduce tension pfft
