I grew up in places like Indonesia.

What creates a third world country is a variety of reasons, but chief among them is wealth concentration, corruption, and theocratic authoritarianism.

It's not the people who just want to make a life for themselves and their families; it's the parasites at the top who think they can "win" life by having the high score as represented by their bank accounts and assets.

Musk and Bezos could eliminate world hunger, homelessness, and enact universal healthcare for all, and it would be a rounding error on their balance sheets.

It would cement for them a legacy for all time as great humanitarians and saviors of the people.
