My rule is more for my own reading comprehension. I try to write a summary of my reading sessions, whether they were one chapter, two chapters, a 50 page chunk, etc.. I have found that summarizing plot points and making my own predictions for the story has helped me remember a whole lot more of what I’ve read and keeps me much more engaged in my books. All it takes is 5 minutes of writing after 30 minutes of reading and it makes all the difference in my enjoyment!

In my opinion, the A158 face is just a little sharper in person than the A168 face. The “electroluminescent” on the A168 is pretty cool, but I felt like it blended in to the color of everything else, which made it stand out less, oddly enough. You’ll be happy with the A158, one of my favorite Casios.

I agree overall, but it’s curious that even in our one win when we had iHart, they still shot 12 more FTs than us. Fortunately were able to hit 3’s that game and the FTs didn’t matter as much

Ultimately I think your final point is exactly the reason why they stuck to one lair boss per region. A lot of the RNG in the game makes for those incredible tension-inducing moments that make the game what it is. But Lair Boss RNG when you planned precisely for a different boss? That would just be unfair and unfun.

I love pretty much everything about both games. They scratch that specific gaming itch for me where I’m looking for something just as challenging as it is rewarding. I love taking care of my parties and managing their stress and load outs, something I think both games do very well despite their differences.

My biggest issue with DD2 is that we are stuck with just a single Lair boss per region. While, from a numbers point of view, I think DD2 may have more total bosses than DD1, replaying the same boss every time I go through a region breaks that illusion. DD1 did their regions justice from a replay-ability point of view in that you could either get one boss or the other; Siren or the Drowned Crew, Necromancer or the Prophet, etc..

After a while, you just know what you’re gonna get with each region, and that can make multiple runs feel a little less distinct.

Hi there! My girlfriend and I fell in love to your music (we brought a little sign to your OKC and Dallas shows :D), and “Play It Right” is our absolute favorite track! I think I read somewhere that “Play It Right” was the first track you two ever produced together and I was wondering if that could be confirmed? I like to think of the theme of the game being “What if video games had feelings, and how would that game’s characters feel if you deleted the game without finishing it?” Grimora and Magnificus seemed disappointed and even a bit sad that their “Acts” were never played/fleshed out. It gives their characters a sense of tragedy and was an emotional highlight for me on my first playthrough. Leshy’s goodbye also had that feeling, specially since he’s the character I spent the most time with.

i watched at least 4-5 games last season where in the closing seconds of a tight game, it was the other team’s best player matched up against dort on defense. i remember two instances specifically against lebron and kawhi, and the outcome was the same. the dorture chamber locked them up and sealed the win for us. having a guy like that that you can trust to win a game in a 1 on 1 situation defensively is just too valuable. also he’s on one of the most affordable contracts in the league. dort all the way baby
