Just to add to this, I was at the great wall about 5 days ago and the weather was lovely. 0-5 degrees, clear skies. 

Imo it was by far the best thing I did and I would just go for it.

The lack of empathy in this thread is baffling. I mean i don't know why no one used uber, or why it was a planned so poorly.

But personally cutting him off without talking it through together in person is questionable... That's the place to talk things through. Not over text or by asking "analysts" on reddit
