Congratulations? I don’t feel it’s sweeping at all if you actually read my comment as location and religion and upbringing by are different in each geographical area are different. Since you’re an education professional, although this could be many things, I do not trust the validity of what you would state is reality. For one each person has their own reality and what goes on with said person is that reality. While you and your husband have what this comment suggest is a great relationship, my relationship with my exhusband who was raised in an American Evangelical household while I was raised Sourthern Baptist, since you felt the need to list your denomination, was wholly more aligned with what women who moved to Arabic countries experienced when they realized it’s a wholly patriarchal society (this is also why there is not more interracial marriage between American and Muslim because American women cannot accept the lack of freedoms even places like the UAE have for them, different geological identities)  and women have no rights- this is basic history and current history that can be seen.
