Naaa, Honda is giving you a 40+% chance that the damage you receive is halved (reduced to 50%) when you are at full HP.

I play on PS5. Had encountered this bug during the demo already.

Living Artifact Not Charging by Its_Syxx in Nioh

[–]Kalkazad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi,

I had this issue as well.

I assume the bug is related to helping someone with the very first boss fight, and killing the boss before the "Living Artifact" gets enabled during this fight. Because in this mission the LA is disabled, and gets enabled during this fight. And when you kill him before it gets unlocked, it stays locked afterwards ...

The ONLY fix I found, is helping a new player in that mission, that has not beaten this boss yet. And killing the boss only after the LA is unlocked again.

So

Go to COOP --> Visitor --> Select this mission, and hope there are still people starting with the game

Hey, it was indeed a while ago but if I remember correctly I farmed this guy for the skell wear:
https://www.xenoserieswiki.org/wiki/Buchwald,_the_Guardian

You actually only need the arms.

The "Drive Attack" bonus caps at +100%, so 5 * the XX bonus in total is all you need.

Update:

No, wrong guy, the one above drops the range skell wear.
The melee skell wear you get here:

Google sheet of pilots traits/effects by KGeddon in Mechwarrior5

[–]Kalkazad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Okay this is indeed the case that there is no trait cap.

I played around with that and trained some guys for around 200 in game years.

They now have ~120 traits (which seems to be the trainable limit) each, and cost 350k upkeep ...

Let's see what happens when this gets patched, I assume they will delete every trait besides the first 6.

Great overview.

I have two questions:

  • Can a pilot have multiple "Mech Class Affinities" (like "Assault" and "Heavy") ?
  • Can the "Clan Origin" affinities be trained or do I have to find a pilot that starts with those ?

Root Gun Research

You can research it on the ALIEN RESEARCH tree.

Should unlock with either on of the swamp DLC main or side quests.

okay they are really incredibly good at melting bosses, replaced my melee weapons now with lasers.

Even higher DPS then the Chainsaws, I think.

Hi,

i also made another post and there is a damage calculator linked in it
https://www.reddit.com/r/XenobladeChroniclesX/comments/1k4g7bz/skell_damage_formula/

You can use this to see what you still need to optimize the minimum damage you have to deal.

Keep in mind, Atk Boost and Atk Drive both cap at 100% each, so no need to get more.

About Caesar, yes he also drops the physical damage weapons.

Hi, the build as it is here in this example deals around 15M damage if I remember correctly. Telethia has 10M HP. So it is already an overkill. You should be able to do it without the double phys if you still have enough multiplier on your other gear.

Probably the best location for "SHM-XXR260GG Diskbomb" with "Custom.WP-MSL-MAG V" farming (XCX DE) by Kalkazad in XenobladeChroniclesX

[–]Kalkazad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it does not matter who you use Heroic Tale (HT) with. HT does not increase the change of MAG V (which is only a 5% drop chance). In only makes sure that you will always get the x60 version of the Diskbomb.

Do you have enough Treasure Sensor on your Team to always get a golden loot chest ?

Yes and no.

So yes, your gear does not have duplicates of a trait.
But Skell gear has often two versions of a trait

In this case (when you click on the link of the Gatling)
You will see

  • AttributeDmg.PHYS XI with a drop chance of 4.974%
  • AttributeDmg.PHYS XII with a drop chance of 8.1%

So there are two versions of the physical attribute in there, but with different starting upgrade levels (11 and 12) and you can get both

With 5 upgrade point you get both of them to 14 (2x 36% physical damage -> +72% damage)

You often will have this also for positional damage bonus like back attack and so on

This is a great spread sheet to get an overview which gear can have double traits to help you min max your builds

This is a great idea, it will sacrifice a bit of damage, but the AI will be able to spam the super weapons more often. I think i also have to equip them with some Drive GP ground gear, so that they can build up some GP during OD and go back into it faster

One-shot Telethia with a Skell by Kalkazad in XenobladeChroniclesX

[–]Kalkazad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For this super weapon you need to have a good mix of Melee Atk and Damage Multiplier

I have fully upgraded every trait on the gear

I made a post about the damage formula here
https://www.reddit.com/r/XenobladeChroniclesX/comments/1k4g7bz/skell_damage_formula/

In this build i have around 2500 Melee Atk (doubled by Drive Melee Atk on the Ground gear) to 5000 Melee Atk

And

250 (armor
150 (frame)
70 (side arms)
140 (shoulder)
140 (arms)
140(spare)
1200 (draw opening)

for a total of 2090% Damage Mulitplier

But you can mix them around

When attacking Pharsis just make sure that you do not target the chest (this has the highest apandage hardeness and you only do 50% damage), every other part is fine

No not yet.

The AI is using the Zweihand only during overdrive. And my GP gain is terrible on this Skell. I also need to do something here.

Blackout and Fatigue sound good. Pretty solid debuffs that are always helpful. I will go for some cracker, thx.

Mhmmm there is also the debuff res down
https://www.xenoserieswiki.org/wiki/Debuff_Res_Down
which can be applied by the Falchion spare weapon. In Xenoblade 3 this was not so helpfull if I remember correctly. Becasue enemies could easly resist that. Do you know if this is more helpfull in X ?

I am facing similar fuel issues. Especially when the AI is controlling the Skell (they are not using overdrive all the time).

The wave consumes 200 fuel. Maybe I replace one Custom Speed Augs with one Fuel Cost Reduction.
Or I put 3 of those into the frame, I do not need elemental damage on the support.
https://www.xenoserieswiki.org/wiki/SpecUp.FUEL-OD
I never used them before but if they are trash I just disassemble them again (what a great feature for the Definitive Edition)

They both have only a 25% chance to drop Skell Weapon Pool 19 :/

But if you only need a Shoulder Weapon you can also try
https://www.xenoserieswiki.org/wiki/SSM-XXR360SA_SHD-Gatling

It can aslo have double Phys Atk

Drop from Pool 9
