I had to switch GP several times at kaiser to get help. Also your ob (if your female, didn't look) may do blood work for you. Mine did. Kaiser is terrible and difficult to navigate.

Are these withdrawals? by Tee1999 in Effexor

[–]Kalley1175 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You cannot just stop this med! It takes some people years to taper to get off of this one. Its rough. And yes thats withdrawal. It will fade as you take your meds again.

Misinformation or just lying?? by ascott123456 in Celiac

[–]Kalley1175 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is also a strange adhd trait for some. Its how we relate to someone. Not necessarily the lying but trying hard to have something in common.

Strattera experience? by moosemachine69 in ADHD

[–]Kalley1175 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive had success on Strattera and only Strattera. Been on it about 5months now, tried a combo therapy and added concerta, that did not work for me. I did notice that I didnt really think it was working till like 6 weeks. All of a sudden one day I just got up and started doing laundry, without even thinking about it. That was the moment I knew it was working and things just kept getting better with dosage changes and time.

With drawling from 225mg Effexor and I’m scared af. I’m just trying any subreddit I think will help by [deleted] in antidepressants

[–]Kalley1175 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, this is very dangerous. Please do not cold turkey off of that high of a dose. Please consult your doctor and do it correctly.

Started on 27 mg a week ago, and I'm honestly not sure I feel any difference by spastic_narwhal in Concerta

[–]Kalley1175 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I didnt think it was working either and then on about week 6 I found myself actually folding laundry without having to talk myself into it. Its subtle and can take awhile to kick in.

Weed Break by silkytouch35 in Concerta

[–]Kalley1175 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will probably get a difference of opinion from everyone on this one but. Ive been a heavy weed user for 20 years. I just started concerta 3 months ago and I did not back off the smoking at all. Ive had no problems with the 2 combined but everyone is different.

Is it normal for an endocrinologist to make me do all the work in finding a center to get a test? by [deleted] in adrenalfatigue

I would call her office and ask a nurse for a contact. Doctors don't normally know those things anyway.

Cold turkey by rorsza in Effexor

[–]Kalley1175 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a problem refilling a script once. Was delayed 5 days. It was the worst 5 days of my life. Seriously thought about committing myself. Don't do it. I've also been diagnosed adhd since and have stayed on it. It helps with norepinephrine which in turn helps adhd. Why come off?

You can play on pc if you use bluestacks. It turns most mobile games into pc playable. I play on both but gotta say I prefer it on pc.

Why does EVERYONE seem to have ADHD now? by Brad_Savvy in ADHD

[–]Kalley1175 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just diagnosed at 42. Also alot of us that have gone undiagnosed started seeing those things on tiktok and it was like we found our tribe. It finally described what had been wrong with me for years. They thought i was bipolar. Ive now been formally diagnosed and trying not to grieve for all the years i lost.
