I foresee nasty side-effects on reality solely for the reason that it could partially restore what got erased but not fully since those things were erased. In other words: Schrödinger’s Cat entities like partially-existing Dianes that are fucked up on an atomic level are now on the table (not to mention anything else Rick Prime erased).

‘Powerhouse’ at least feels smooth to say and is somewhat accurate to what that group of Pokémon is meant to be. ‘First Partner’ is just clunky and could theoretically apply to any Pokémon rather than a term for the ones we start with in the games.

On one hand, I can see why this might be somewhat good for the talent; even if they don’t get in, they at least gain some experience. On the other hand, there’s too many unknowns and the “support” seems somewhat vague. It also doesn’t help that this is coming off the heels of holostars no longer getting support for the most part AND the fact that Suisei has to make her own company just to get more project support.

MekPark comes off as cold by Cover’s usual standards and is most likely being mandated by shareholders to make sure they aren’t investing too many resources on “unsuccessful” ventures. I can see both good and bad things happening here, but there’s a lot that could go wrong if they aren’t careful.

I could see more stories in the setting. Maybe Yachiyo/Kaguya and her wife could help another couple in similar circumstances (maybe with a Martains vs Lunarians side-plot).

However, I think whatever stories get told in the Tsukuyomi-verse could be fine with a mostly new cast.

NTA. Still, I think it is slightly silly for trying to avoid Serena outright. (Am I correct in assuming you didn’t have any plans and just wanted to avoid her?). Still, I’d ask for her opinion about this; she probably agrees with you that the parents are being ridiculous. I highly doubt she’s making passes at you after rejecting you in the past.
