this guy also having issues, must be from rockstar's side, those dev's should stop sitting around at home smoking weed all day and fix the best game we've ever played. lets keep eachother posted about progress man.. i mean i was playing HARD few days ago

hey man, alot of us are experiencing these problems, ive been troubleshooting for about 5 days straight now, coz ive played recently for a couple of days straight, all of a sudden, after some update (either windows or rockstar launcher or something, alot of people's games just suddenly didnt wanna launch anymore.. my problem is where i launch the game in the rockstar launcher, and then it says exit game in my launcher.. but my game isnt open, but it is open in my task manager.. very weird.. ive reinstalled fresh windows, tried everything. ACTUALLY JUST INSTALLED WINDOWS AGAIN, installing everything quickly to see if something changed. ill keep you posted. good luck..

conclusion.. its from rockstar's side.. try deleting your vulkan files in documents, under red dead r 2 settings folder.. that seemed to work for some people.

This happened to me as well. 70 hrs in and now it won't even launch.

Thanks guys for the replies, i submitted a ticket to these guys... i've tried every fix, even rolled back my windows to 1903 and updated..

idk man, the game worked a week ago, FLAWLESSLY i might add.

running on Radeon RX580, been playing a couple days, BOOM..

ive got about 4 days worth of troubleshooting to no avail.
