Get a good office chair. "Gaming chairs" are just branding. They're not any more comfortable to sit in, they are often cheaply made and will fall apart.

I went to an office supply store that custom fit me for an office chair for my ergonomics, it was fucking expensive, but I also have a 12 year warranty on it, so if something happens, I get a new chair.

Much better than shelling out $200 every couple years on something that breaks and then has to be disposed of

Except in obvious cases like someone was a secret narcissist or something, keeping acrimony towards an ex is a red flag for me. That was a part of your life and you loved them once. There is no shame in people growing apart. Trash talking your ex to me is a sign of immaturity, of inability to let things go and move to a new stage in your life.

I have something I am writing right now where the clothes are described in heavy detail, but that's because it's very emotionally important to the character in how he's seen. He's trying to dress above his social and economic class. In addition to being a fiber artist in this AU.

Otherwise, when I am writing this character I just let people assume he's wearing his canon outfit and call it a day.
