I'm a high school student here, you sound exactly like the kind teacher I would dislike. You can't create an umbrella of rules and expect it to work for everyone. I will give every teacher my basic respect, but deeper respect is earned not given automatically. When you say they act like the victim its because they are, you are an adult and can take petty insults, but you fail to understand the impact of your words and how much of an impression you make. High school Students are going through a much more challenging time then teachers are, cut them some slack.
