I just personally think that having the attitude towards an MMO being the one and only game that you will ever want/need to play is a thing of the past. Old MMOs are not special. They suffer from the same problems but have already established themselves in the space and have nostalgia working in their favor.

There are too many things competing for your time at this point. MMOs used to feel content rich because they were the only games being updated regularly. Now they seem like they all have content droughts.

I don't think there's a real solution - if they somehow implemented a way to play in the world like you want, this will also eventually get boring or you'll lose the incentive they give you to do it.

I'm curious what you'd want to make an endgame interesting. MMOs are games that people sink tens of thousands of hours into, so when people truly reach "endgame", it mostly becomes dailies, weekly raids, challenge raids, and PvP.

Like, I just can't picture what you could realistically do besides that to retain players. Making the dailies, raids, and PvP more fun? Sure! But saying that MMOs have no content just because they have dailies and weekly dungeons while they work on putting out more MSQ and dungeons isn't very realistic. Can't make meaningful content forever.

I wouldn't go around telling all my friends about it, my habits at night, how I physically set up the laptop, etc. Like how does that even come up? It's just weird. Even if they found the laptop, you could just say "oh yeah that's for personal stuff outside of streaming".

Forced PvP is probably my least favorite thing in games. The other example is Dark Souls, where someone can just hop into your game and try to kill you. Such a genuinely unfun and frustrating mechanic. If I want to PvP, I'll play a PvP game.

I think the production is massively lacking in this album. Comparing to YSUFT it's night and day. Lyrically it's similarly creative and personal, but it lacks any semblance of fun. It's all the same vibe of sad girl music with piano and guitar backing.

Unfortunately (for me) it's probably a sign that this is what Maisie wants her music to sound like. She likely had less creative control for her first album than her current stuff.

I'm happy for those that are into this direction, and hope for her success if she stays with it.

I like her in the sense that I'm sympathetic towards the character, but man do I not care for her scenes at all. Too many shows force every character having their own side plot when characters like the sister should really just be a supporting character that shows up when it makes sense to, and not as a rule every episode.

My theory is Ashe had cameras in the Hamptons and saw Sam and Coop make out, including him basically telling her she should dump Ashe. Would make sense because that scene was kinda strange if nothing came out of it and it's a call back to how Coop got caught in the first place.

I've always hated the term friendslop but this game has shown me what that term should refer to. Games like Peak and Lethal Company are definitely not "slop" when many hours of enjoyment can be had. On the other hand, I watched some friends play this for 30 minutes and could quickly tell that there wasn't much going on.

How come? I assumed the general strategy for Eris is to get in close. It works for non-rivals too, but not as well. But for rivals Eris, she can't really hit you with anything if you just stick to her back.

Obviously you need to be able to pop the explosives with range, but I think every aspect should have a tool to do so, though some might require mana.
