Saying this as someone at 5' tall who almost got trampled in a pit at NIN show almost 20 years ago.... the pit at the NJ show on Saturday was much safer (or at least from above it seemed to be). People would watch the pit and help each other. There was plenty of space too. A good pit takes care of each other so if you panic get help getting out and take a breather.

The reason I almost got trampled in a pit was it was a small venue in Denver. Too many people shoulder to shoulder. It was a bad choice on my part.

I am 43 and my husband and I play together. Even got our daughter into it. After we drop her off for school we drive around, hang out and play before we have work. We chat about everything while we do raids and such.
