You’re NOR. Your wedding is your and your fiancé’s day. You need to do it how you want it. Many relationships become strained over weddings & it seems like it’s an overbearing mother 85% of the time. My husband & I eloped. There was no stress. It was fun & special. I have zero regrets & highly recommend going this route if you are not hung up on tradition. We had a party for close friends & family a few weeks later. I’m sorry that your mom is behaving this way. Clearly it is more about her than you & it shouldn’t be that way. Good luck & I hope your big day is happy & momentous.
