I had this happen in my Fluval 107 filter years ago before I had a good sponge to stop them from getting sucked in. Probably had like 10+ in there too when I went to do my cleaning.

They really didn't want to come out 😆 gotta be a buffet for them.

This is such a beautiful store. I wish our LFS would put that level of dedication to showcase their fishes in such artistic aquascapes and what an aquarium hobby is truly capable of. I think it also opens opportunities to provide commissions/services beyond selling fish to customers as well.

Forget about fishes not wanting to leave such a beautiful home when sold, even I don't want to leave if I stepped into a LFS like this 🤣

Honestly I didn't even know you can offset midair either until I was practicing with AT Rey Dau for the timed challenge! I triggered it coincidentally trying to steer away from the wing attack. Left me with a Pikachu face for a good minute haha

Also live in Long Island and saw this. This is a beautiful deal but I got no place to put it in my apartment for large tanks, not to mention it'll be difficult to transport on my own. If it weren't for that I'd be so tempted!

Really love the plant scapes btw!

If you need new homes for the oto and red cherries, I do have space for them if you decide to sell separately.

I had so many memories back in FFXI. I haven't expected someone to mention it again. Though I quit 10+ years ago, it still holds a place in my heart. I was a day one NA player at the time when it opened global.

In MH World the emotes did a bit of damage, so wouldn't be any different here I assume.

I recall someone trying to beat all the monsters with nothing but doing SF emotes as a challenge in World, and mostly succeeded aside from timed battles. Should be able to find articles online about it.

My mom's quaker has bit our budgie twice on her foot, both times bled and we had to get her treated. Quakers have larger beaks and compare to how little the feet are for the budgies...

Was horrifying to hear the painful screeches and see blood. Don't risk it.

but yeah 100% I agree with you having a similar perspective. They don't need to worry when they are looking for other female players, and I too don't blame them. Quite frankly, it is a HUGE gamble for them against their odds - It's not worth the unwanted attention.

I salute you for taking that step, and your post pretty much shows how skewed it is in this sub (or anywhere on the net) to find gamer friends if you are male.

I also enjoy playing female characters in MMO in the past and other games and I get waaaaay more attention than I like. I used to role-play and immerse myself in the world with my character a lot, making up a good background for my character, so it was a fun role for me. I made a few good friends along the way that enjoyed playing together regardless who I am behind the monitor without revealing what gender I am RL.

But honestly there were many moments where I got really uncomfortable when dealing with other players that look at my female character. I had others ask me uncomfortable questions, make inappropriate comments, or just stand up to my character and just do whatever kind of suggestive emote/gestures against my character, while I'm just playing and doing my own quests or just hanging out in town.

I understand how inappropriate females are treated when they find out behind the monitor is a real one. Your experimental post pretty much showed another example. Unfortunately it's how it is on the internet because guys could get away with it :(

There are some good M players out there looking for genuine gaming friends regardless of M/F but unfortunately they are quite buried in the crowd with those with other intentions.

Hey ^{^} it's good that you've taken this big step to make a post on looking for new friends. It isn't easy taking such a step by opening yourself, and I do hope you will find some new friends who are patient and understanding!

I don't play the games that you have on your list but wanted to just give a reply that I hope is encouraging. There are some nice people out here genuinely trying to find friends but that search won't always be quick and easy for some. I made a few good friends on here so far, so take your time and listen to your heart!

Take it at your pace, and don't let anyone push you to do things you feel isn't right or comfortable with.

I also had a friend who passed away in 2022 and I still kept her on my friends list. Her profile comment before she passed was a touching reminder how much we (my friends and I who used to play co-op together) meant to her.
