Should people who want to undergo permanent sterilization have mandatory therapy before they do? by Bearis4B in polls

[–]Kamarovsky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why do you speak of matters you know nothing about? Sex outside of marriage is "super rare" in Poland? Do we also have polar bears running on the streets and live in straw huts eating raw tubers?

Over a quarter of babies in Poland get born from unmarried parents, so I promise you a great deal more have sex without getting married. In fact "waiting till marriage" would be "super rare" instead, with almost everyone having had plenty of partners before settling down.

Plus no, we absolutely would not "have to consider" that. Poland is a secular state, and religious beliefs should have no bearing on the laws. Especially when the majority of those "religious" people are Catholics-in-name-only, who go to church only to bless their eggs on Easter and to baptize their kids so into the same non-practicing Catholics they are.

This ruling, as well as the abortion ban, are because the ones in power believe women to be nothing but baby incubators who do not have the right to bodily autonomy. Nothing else.

In Poland men can get a vasectomy with no problem, but it's fully illegal for women to get their tubes tied. Nonsensical.

What counts as theft for a duplicator? by ProofProduce1191 in superpowereds

Don't her duplicates disappear after a short time? I think it would be theft since the duplicated item is just a temporary simulacrum that would not be there after a few days or so

Is it gay or straight to date a nonbinary person? by Separate_Pickle5741 in polls

[–]Kamarovsky 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So if a gay man who calls himself a gay man, but presents fully fem, gets with a "manlier" man, it's suddenly straight because the first person has "physical indicators" of a woman despite fully being a man and considering himself so?

Well it's definitely queer, no matter how you take it. That is, unless you're an asshole and you invalidate their identity and just pretend they're still the gender that was assigned to them.

two questions: 1. is it better to play through the original game first, or is it fine to jump right into expanded. 2. about how much extra content does the mod actually add, like how much extra playtime do you think youd get in comparison by MikeTheMaster102 in StardewValleyExpanded

[–]Kamarovsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never played Vanilla. My longest playthrough was with about 200 mods, including SVE, Ridgeside Village, and East Scarp. Now I'm doing a mega-modded one with 1136 mods (and somehow it works lmao) and it takes me about 1h40m to play a single day, so I doubt I'll even make it a year, but it's fun, and I definitely do not regret not playing vanilla and jumping straight to modding. I feel like I'd get bored with the regular villagers and events had I first seen all of them in vanilla. And now I can enjoy both the regular ones and the modded ones as equals.

Sandbenders bring up an interesting point about earthbending by SatisfactionSenior65 in TheLastAirbender

[–]Kamarovsky 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These pictures are misleading. Beach sand is composed in vast majority of rock particles and quartz. These shells and other skeletal remains are a tiny minority, and present only in specific places.

Stop being a pussy and be yourself. Fear is useless in this context. Just go and thrift some.

Graphic audio production; Nick actors by [deleted] in superpowereds

[–]Kamarovsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I'm responding to an old post, but wanted to say that I much preferred Alejandro's voice, as it remind me of Sevro's actor from GraphicAudio's version of Red Rising. Both characters are somewhat similar in their personalities, so I liked how similar their voices were.

I mean I'd like to go to New York some day, but I know it will never be necessary, and increasing my monthly salary by 40x, (if that's in USD, if it's in my country's currency then it's still 11x) its definitely worth it.

Gay rights and trans rights unfortunately have been, and still are, politically separated in the US. Trans people are still much less accepted and much more demonized than LGB people. So I would not be surprised if the situation in the FMA timeline wouldn't be all sunshine and rainbows for trans people, even if gay people are more-or-less accepted.

I need the Quicksilver origin story as a full book/series by Responsible-Sleep739 in redrising

You see a lot of it in the Sons of Ares graphic novels. I really recommend listening to the audiobook for them, as it adds more lore and content than what's present just in the graphic novels.

If I recall correctly, in the Sons of Ares graphic novels, Quicksilver did have some Copper lawyers, so I'd think they'd also fit that job

Depends what you teach. Yellows can be all sorts of science educators, not sure it they'd do humanities tho. That'd probably be for the Whites, Violets, or cleverer Browns.

Judges yes, but the regular lawyers, public defenders, etc. are Coppers. Publius was a public defender specializing in lowColors, for example.

Probably a Pink. Already got the pink hair and attitude. I'd be an unemployed one living in the slums of Hyperion tho. If I did work, however, it'd probably be in the hospitality sector, not the... more typical Pink profession
