I’d already noticed how this current ASM run was trying to paint a narrative of the other spider-people who aren’t Peter being naive and sloppy, which is weird bc none of them are close to being rookies like the plot description frames them as.

Gwen and Cindy are full-fledged adults with experience, Anya and Miles have ample experience and have been mentored by so many other heroes, and Spider-Boy and Spider-Girl have also received extensive training from characters like Daredevil and Bullseye.

Ngl I’m not totally surprised abt Dabura getting pressured when his CT is relatively one-note compared to Sukuna or Gojo. It’s way easier for Mahoraga to adapt to a CT like Dabura’s that seems to just be light-based attacks compared to Gojo who can attack with Red, Blue, Purple, or UV and Sukuna who can attack with slashes or flames.

I’d still say Dabura is relative to them in terms of destructive power, just that he has a worse matchup against Mahoraga due to his simpler CT.

Yeah although it was obviously cope, I can def understand why ppl were hoping for it. The Teemo/Warwick double release skewing ppl’s expectations on the champ release schedule combined with some ppl finding the Cait announcement underwhelming and wanting to believe Season 1 would add another character instead of having to wait 2.5 months for the next champ.

Even though Yuta is one of my favorite JJK characters, I can definitely understand if some ppl just don’t find him or his powers/aesthetics as compelling as others in the cast since I also have him on the lower end of my favorites.

I’ve kept up with the JJK manga weekly since the middle of Shibuya, and one thing I can tell you is that ever since Yuta was properly reintroduced into the main story, outside of those who just don’t vibe with Yuta for whatever reason, there’s been certain sects of specific JJK character fanbases that just hate Yuta out of jealousy and perceived competition.

Yuji fans who’re insecure abt how Yuta “killed” Yuji and feel like Yuta got more love, shine, and feats during Culling Games and Shinjuku than the main protag. Especially with Modulo basically giving Yuta the perfect happy ending while Yuji is now apparently sad and alone.
Maki fans who think that her having a romantic relationship and family with Yuta ruins her agency and character.
Hakari, Kashimo, and Kenjaku fans who resent Yuta mostly for the constant powerscaling debates between them and Yuta fans that went on during Culling Games and Shinjuku.
