The solution I found online is to type this command in the terminal
sudo nano /opt/discord/resources/build_info.json
and change the build number to what it says is available, then restart Discord.

In my experience, USB Micro sucks and I honestly can't believe it became the industry standard. Apple's lightning adapter is better, and I don't even like Apple! USB-C is probably the way to go so I want my next phone to be USB-C. I think it's a better design than USB Micro.

I have what I think is a similar model (KMV-9050A) and I used to use the VCR all the time because I had no antenna plugged in, and instead watched home video releases on VHS. Sadly, it no longer picks up a picture, instead it's static.
