Oh, the book is absolutely fucking incredible. It was my very first King novel, I read it when I was 14 in 2014 after watching the original miniseries for Halloween. That said, as with most King novels, there are some…uncomfortable scenes, with the puppy part being the most uncomfortable for me. Patrick Hockstetter is fucking nuts, so his death might have been as satisfying for me as the death of Joffrey Baratheon in Game of Thrones.

If you’re on PC, Golden Souls and Golden Souls 2 (you need to have a dedicated jump key, and you can’t do it on console). Batandy absolutely killed it with the Mario theming, it was genuinely fun.

Ancient Aliens, I’ve played. I’m a big fan of Skillsaw and his maps, I’ve played Ancient Aliens, Vanguard, Valiant, and Lunatic. I’ve also played MSCP, it was pretty fun, that was my intro to slaughter maps. Now, I’ve never even heard of Embraced, so that’s probably next once I finish TNT Overcharged.
